Blast From The Past

 Despite the many hardships at that juncture in time, a number of German companies still wanted to produce their very own road-friendly version of the Porsche 962; the singular, most accomplished racing car prototype of the last centaury.  And after exhibiting their very first car the 1994 Dauer 962 at the “1993 Frankfurt Show”, Dauer joined with Porsche to produce an able contender for the “1994 24 Hours of LeMans”.  The car also possessed a unique suspension at the time of creation with the front suspension comprising of Double Wishbones with Adjustable Anti-Roll Bars and special spring/ Damper Units, and the rear suspension comprising Double Inverted Wishbones with Radius Rods also with Adjustable Anti- Roll Bars and spring/Damper Units.
  And the price of this revolutionary car at the time the car would have sold for about US$1,200,000, which was an exuberant sum, but considering the costs that they had to withstand, and rise above, it was a premium price for a premium car, and a now forgotten supercar.
