6.3 liters, an output of power of 408 kW, and a maximum torque of 650 Newton meters. The engine in the Chiron is the same engine that was used in the EB118 and EB218 concept cars. The name of the car, Chiron, is from a famous Bugatti race driver named Louis Chiron.
There are four valves for every cylinder in the 18 cylinder Chiron so there is a total of 72 valves total. The compression ratio is 11.5:1, the bore is 3.00 inches and the stroke is 2.98 inches.
The Chiron is a concept car and is made of carbon fiber making it extremely lightweight. The paint is the color of Blú Côte d’Azur, which gives the car the ultimate sporty look. The Chiron has superior traction, which is from the permanent 4-wheel drive and 20 inch wheels. The front tires are 265/30 and the rear tires are 335/30. The Chiron features a rear spoiler that is raised in three stages automatically which reduces the amount of lift on the rear axle. The fact that the Chiron is so low to the ground and made up of lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum make the car very quick off the line while still having superior handling abilities.
The Chiron is a sleek looking car, which is aerodynamic as it features a curvaceous low to the ground body type. The engine is in the rear of the car and the trunk is in the front. The Chiron is a two-seated coupe and the interior is classy and stylish as Bugatti used the best materials such as the finest leather and wood. There are two types of leather in the cabin, which are blue leather called Blu Pacifico, and yellow leather called Sabbia. The instrument panels on the Chiron are constructed of aluminum allow and the front trunk features a specific luggage set that fits perfectly into it.
The Chiron has a small four spoke steering wheel that is put in front of two big dials together with a couple of smaller dials, on the central tunnel a lever for the open gate gear was placed coupled to a 5 speed manual gearbox. Starting the Chiron is done by first turning the ignition key and then pushing the large red start button, which would then fire up the 18-cylinder engine in the rear.
